In a change from last year the younger juniors playing kwik cricket will also have training in the nets but still with soft balls. Older juniors that want to come and train with the adults are very welcome to come along for the early session.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club Season Tickets
Under the umbrella of Cricket Derbyshire, Ashbourne CC have been provided with two DCCC season tickets for the 2017 season. Any Ashbourne CC members wishing to use the tickets please contact Dave Wood. Tickets can be used for all DCCC home games except T20 Blast games.
Does your cricket helmet pass the test?
All players regardless of whether you are batting, close fielding or keeping wicket are advised to wear a helmet that complies with BS7928:2013. This is compulsory for Under 18 players. Further details on the ECB website:

Ashbourne cricket club relies on the generosity of local businesses and benefactors to continue to grow. The sponsorship we receive in particular helps the development of future players by funding the junior teams. There are five sponsorship packages available to suit all budgets. We can now offer 6x2ft advertising boards on the boundary at the Recreation Ground. Please find details in the document attached. Thank you for your interest and support.
Annual player membership is just £25 including a ticket in the monthly 50-50 prize draw (worth £24). Match fees £10 (£5 for concessions).
We have 5 junior teams in 2018. The under 15 hard ball team play matches on Tuesday evenings, two under 12 hardball playing matches on Wednesday evenings and we have two under 11 kwik cricket teams that play matches on Friday evenings. Girls can play 2 years above the age group.
There is no annual subscription for junior members but the following fees apply per session:
Indoor training £3 for the first child, £2 for the first sibling and only £1 for further siblings.
Outdoor training £2 for 1st child, £1 each for additional children
Allstars sessions - included in the registration fee
Hardball match £2
Kwik Cricket match - free
Under 18s playing in the senior teams £5
